InMode ยท Radiofrequency

IgniteRF

IgniteRF is an InMode radiofrequency platform used for non-surgical and minimally invasive treatments of the face and body. It delivers controlled radiofrequency energy to heat tissue and stimulate the skin, and can support skin tightening and contouring. Whether it suits you, and what it can achieve, depends on your individual skin, anatomy and goals, and is decided at consultation.

Treatments are provided to adults (18+) following individual consultation and assessment. This page is general information only and is not a substitute for medical advice. Results vary between individuals, no specific outcome is promised, and more than one session may be needed.

Treatments with IgniteRF

The treatments below are described in general terms. Which, if any, suits you is decided together at consultation, after assessing your skin and goals. Photographs of past results are not shown here, but relevant examples can be reviewed privately, with your consent, at an appointment.

01
Skin tightening and contouring

Radiofrequency energy is used to heat deeper tissue layers, which can support firmer-looking skin and refined contour on the face or body. The likely degree of change varies between individuals and is assessed individually.

02
RF microneedling (Morpheus8)

Combines microneedling with radiofrequency to work on skin texture and firmness. The number of sessions and the expected change vary between individuals and are discussed at consultation.

03
Minimally invasive RF (BodyTite, FaceTite)

For some people, minimally invasive radiofrequency options deliver energy beneath the skin through a small probe, under local anaesthetic. These involve more downtime and greater risk than non-invasive options, and are only considered after individual assessment.

04
QuantumRF

A minimally invasive radiofrequency option that delivers fractional radiofrequency energy to deeper tissue through a fine probe, used for soft tissue contraction. Like other minimally invasive options, it involves local anaesthetic, more downtime and greater risk, and is only considered after individual assessment.

Important to understand

Risks, results and what to expect

01
All treatments carry risk

Energy-based and minimally invasive treatments carry risks and possible side effects, including temporary redness, swelling, bruising and changes in skin sensation. These are explained in detail, specific to the treatment and your circumstances, before you decide.

02
Downtime varies

Non-invasive options generally involve little downtime; minimally invasive options involve more. What to expect and any aftercare is explained beforehand.

03
A course of treatments

Results develop over time as the skin responds, and a course of treatments is often needed. This is discussed honestly so you know what to expect.

04
Results vary

Outcomes depend on individual factors such as skin type and the area treated. No specific result can be promised, and these treatments are not a substitute for surgery where that is more appropriate.

Consultation

Considering IgniteRF?

The starting point is an individual consultation, where your goals, suitability, the options, risks and the likely number of sessions are discussed in full. Other treatments, including injectable options, may also be discussed where clinically appropriate. There is no obligation to proceed.
