What to expect

The consultation pathway

Care is unhurried and staged. The steps below outline how a typical pathway works, from first enquiry through to recovery.

01
Referral & enquiry

A GP referral is required for all surgical procedures.

02
Initial consultation

Your goals, medical history and suitability are discussed in full, along with the risks, limitations and likely recovery of any procedure considered. Review information and an estimated fee breakdown will also be provided.

03
Time to consider

A cooling-off period gives you time to weigh the information without pressure. There is no obligation to proceed, and questions are welcome at any stage.

04
Your procedure

If you choose to go ahead, the procedure is planned individually, with written information provided beforehand so you know what to expect.

05
Recovery & follow-up

Aftercare and review appointments support your recovery. Recovery times and outcomes vary between individuals.
