Facial Surgery

Facial surgery includes procedures that refine or rejuvenate specific features of the face. Whether a procedure is appropriate depends on your individual anatomy, health and goals, and is decided together at consultation. Every option carries risks and a recovery period, and outcomes differ from person to person.

Procedures are provided to adults (18+) following individual consultation and assessment. This page is general information only and is not a substitute for medical advice. Results vary between individuals and no specific outcome is promised.

Facial procedures

The procedures below are described in general terms. Which, if any, suits you is a clinical decision made together at consultation, after assessing your anatomy, health and goals. Photographs of past results are not shown here, but relevant examples can be reviewed privately, with your consent, at an appointment.

01
Eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty)

Addresses excess skin or puffiness of the upper or lower eyelids. It involves fine incisions, some scarring and a recovery period, all discussed in detail beforehand.

02
Lip lift

Adjusts the proportion and position of the upper lip. Suitability and the likely result are assessed individually, and it involves a small incision and resulting scar.

Important to understand

Risks, recovery and expectations

01
All surgery carries risk

General risks of surgery and anaesthesia, as well as risks specific to the procedure being considered, are explained in detail and in writing before any decision is made.

02
Recovery takes time

Facial surgery involves a recovery period that differs between individuals. You receive guidance on what to expect, activity restrictions and aftercare, with follow-up appointments to support healing.

03
Scarring is part of surgery

Facial procedures involve incisions and resulting scars. These are placed as discreetly as possible and settle over time, but remain permanent. Their likely position is discussed beforehand.

04
Results vary

Outcomes depend on individual factors and no specific result can be promised. In some cases, further or revision procedures may be needed. These possibilities are discussed openly.
